Zva Creative and my fellow Design Team members welcome you to our April blog hop! We are excited and happy you are joining us and look forward to sharing our new work with you!

Today's Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's Facebook Page! Be sure to head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

Here is what I created using gorgeous Zva Creative bling in shades of purple!
For this layout, I used papers Alma's Sewing Room collection by Pion Design.  The lovely plum/purple tones worked well with the beautiful bling.
Do you not love these flourishes?!  Both the designs and colors are stunning!
The background was altered sing Natural Sand medium by Liquitex mixed with paint.  I used a stencil to add the elegant, textured script.
The floral clusters are made up of a variety of beautiful Prima flowers in various shades of purple.
I used two different designs by Zva Creative to create this corner flourish.  I love the versatility of Zva's bling!
The chipboard elements are made by the Dusty Attic.  They were painted, misted and inked to match.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path.  I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, April 29th, and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, April 30th.

***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 1st on Zva Creative's Facebook Page. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!

To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva's facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by if you already follow us there!

The blog hop begins at Zva Creative's Facebook Page

Hi everyone!  This is a layout I made using Pion Design's Forget Me Not collection.  It is an earlier collection, but still one of my faves!  You can purchase these papers HERE.
I altered the background of this layout with green & white paint and ink splatters.
The printed title letters were designed by Donna Salazar.  They have adhesive backing and are very easy to alter.

... a gorgeous collection of Prima flowers.  They are earlier designs, but Prima flowers never get old!
All of the hand-stitching was done by hand using embroidery floss.
The chipboard elements on this layout are manufactured by The Dusty Attic and can be purchased HERE.  I altered these pieces with ink and dabs of white paint.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hi friends!  This is a canvas I made using loads of product by Donna Salazar!
The background is made up of muslin and randomly placed chipboard alphas.  (I got the idea for the alphas from Mistra.)  The background was covered with gesso and spritzed with three different colors of Clearsnap Smooch Spritz.  I used Donna's 'All My Love' and 'Swirls' stamps to decorate some of the alphas.  The script was stamped with Midnight Chox Inx and the swirls were embossed with Jasmine Mix'd Media Inx embossing powder.

The larger flowers were handmade using Rose Creations dies by Spellbinders.

The smaller flowers were made from Bitty Blossoms dies.  The white flower die-cut was cut from mulberry paper from Donna's Mix'd Media Stax 2.  Love the texture of this paper!  The Stax also has printed 'dictionary' paper, white labels and crepe paper.
All of the beautiful bling on the layout is by Zva Creative.  Love the grey-ish tones of these crystals.

The word 'love' is made up of chipboard letters by The Dusty Attic.  They were painted, inked and outlined.

This quote by Robert Fulghum is a little 'weird' but so very true!

The Dusty Attic Flourishes were painted and then inked with Midnight Chox.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my canvas!

Hi friends!  This is a layout I made of my daughter using the gorgeous Natural Beauty collection by Donna Salazar.  LOVE this collection!
I love layers... as you probably have noticed LOL.  Behind my photo there are layers of die cut paper, torn 'dictionary' paper and die cut flowers from Donna's Mix'd Media Stax 2 and chipboard by The Dusty Attic.
The background paper was altered with paint and Donna's All My Love stamp.

These handmade flowers were made using Bitty Blossoms and Rose Creations dies by Spellbinders.

I adorned the edges of the paper with Donna's Swirls stamp and Jasmine embossing powder.
All of the stitching on this layout was done by hand.  The bling is Donna's B.Y.O.B (Build Your Own Bling).
These are one of my favorite chipboard alphas!  They come printed and have adhesive backs.  They are also easy to alter with ink or paint.  (You can purchase these alphas HERE.)
And as always, I've added beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard to complete my project.  These Floral Corners were painted and embossed to match the papers.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hello again, friends!  This layout of my daughter is made with Donna Salazar's Family Jeans Collection.  This collection has papers that are perfect for both male and female layouts.
The word 'Adorable' was cut from the image sheet that coordinates with this paper collection.  The chipboard alphas are also designed by Donna and are available in white, blue and pink.

I love pink & green together and these stunning Green Tara flowers matched perfectly.  Here I used Primula flowers, Gardenias, Roses, Organza Pearl and Lace Pearl flowers.  I also added pieces of Pearl Trim to my flower cluster.  The bling is Donna's B.Y.O.B (Build your own Bling) by Want2Scrap.
How cute is this Polka Dot ribbon?!  I cut the ribbon in half and created a little bow to place amidst my flowers.  The green Primula flowers were dabbed with gesso to soften the look of it.
I've tucked bits of Dusty Attic Cyclone Wire behind my layers and added hand stitching to one of the layers.
I altered my background paper with paint, Donna's 'All My Love' and Bubble Wrap stamps and Jasmine embossing powder.

Hope you like it!

Happy weekend!  Today I have a layout to share that is made with Pion Design's Alma's Sewing Room collection.  This collection is filled with stunning designs and colors!
The title letters are chipboard alphas by The Dusty Attic.
All of the flowers were handmade using coordinating papers and Spellbinders dies by Donna Salazar.  I dressed up my background paper with paint, ink and a script stamp.
This chipboard element was embossed with powder by Lindy's Stamp Gang.  I love how their embossing powder has an iridescent shimmer to it.  The white die-cut paper behind the photo is from Donna Salazar's Mix'd Media Stax 2.  It is a beautiful, soft mulberry paper that cuts and embosses beautifully!
I cut half of a chipboard doily and used the two halves separately on my layout.
The multiple scrolls behind the photo were actually cut from one chipboard piece.
All of the Dusty Attic chipboard on this layout can be found in my shop.

Take a peek at the product list below to see which items can be purchased in my store.  :o)

This is a box I made with Pion Design's Alma's Sewing Room collection.  I covered most of the wooden box with paper and wrapped a beautiful stretch lace around it.
The border of the top lid was sprayed with ink by Lindy's Stamp Gang.  The majority of the flowers you see are handmade.  The larger flowers are my Romantique Roses.  You can find the tutorial for them HERE.
The little roses were all made using Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies.  You can purchase these dies HERE in my shop.

That's all for today!  Thanks for stopping by.  See ya soon!
