Hi sweet friends!  This is a layout I made with Pion Design's latest release, Alma's Sewing Room.  What a gorgeous collection!  The two beautiful ladies in the photo are my dear friends, Mistra and Nancy.
The white flower is a Sakura flower by Green Tara.  They are one of my favorites!  The large purple flowers were handmade using Mistra's tutorial found HERE.  All of the little lavender flowers were made from Donna Salazar's Bitty Blossoms dies.
The chipboard element below the flowers is made by The Dusty Attic.  It was inked, painted and embossed to give it that shimmery look.
All of the stunning bling on this layout is made by Zva Creative.
The title letters are also Dusty Attic chipboard elements, and the cute little butterflies were cut from the Pion papers.  Hope you like my layout!

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hi everyone!  I almost forgot to post my February ATC for The Dusty Attic!  Each month there is a theme that is posted, and the theme for February is Love.  I used part of the French Window as my background, and I accented my cluster of elements with these adorable mini scrolls.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Hi everyone!  Mistra and I decided to challenge ourselves again by creating a layout using the same sketch and papers from Donna Salazar's Fun & Funky collection.  We decided to choose a color combination that is different from our norm... we had so much fun!

This is the sketch we used... love the artsy-ness of it!  You can see Mistra's layout HERE.
The beautiful bling is by Zva Creative.  I was so happy to have crystals to match this layout!
The little flowers were made with Donna's Bitty Blossoms dies.
I created the background for this layout by stamping with Donna's 'Dear Sir' stamp by Art Gone Wild.  Then I added texture using stencils and a mixture of medium and paint.
The yellow flower was made with a Spellbinders die called Spiral Blossom Two.
As you know, I LOVE texture, so I applied White Opaque Flakes to my layout.
Love these chipboard alphas by Donna!  They come in three different colors and are easy to alter... or leave as is!
I LOVE these little Dew Drops.  You can find them at Handmade Halo.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a beautiful day!

Happy Monday to you!  Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our February blog hop!  We are very excited about month's hop and are excited to share our new work with you!

Today's Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's blog!  Be sure to head on over to check it out!  Since many of us live in different time zones around the world, you will find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

For my project, I decided to alter an old door plaque that I had bought for my daughter years ago.  She's VERY girly, so of course it had to have lots of pink!

This is the original plaque.  It needed 4 layers of gesso to cover those bright colors!
I added texture to the background by applying muslin and lace.  Then I inked the entire plaque with these lovely colors.
I mixed Natural Sand medium with paint and applied it to random areas.

This large chipboard chandelier is manufactured by The Dusty Attic.
I altered it by dabbing it with white paint, embossing it with an iridescent embossing powder and texturizing it with Glass Beads Gel.  Then I decorated the chandelier with beautiful Zva crystals!

How lovely are these pink flourishes?  My daughter was so ecstatic when she saw them!
The large flower is also made by Zva Creative and it comes with that 'distressed' look with painted edges. These are one of my favorites!
The large Zva Creative rhinestones that I tucked into my floral clusters make beautiful accents.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path.  I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!

The Blog Hop starts today, February 25th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, February 26th.

***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package!  Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over.  All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify.  However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 27th on Zva Creative's blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!  To increase your chances of winning:

* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva's facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by.

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative's blog. Your next stop is Justina Tey.  Enjoy!

Thank you for joining us!

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on March 25th for our next Zva blog hop!

Hi everyone!  This is a Dusty Organizer that I made using the Dusty Attic Advent Calendar.  I thought these drawers would be perfect for holding little bits.

I used the Et Cetera paper collection by Bo Bunny to cover the sides of the box and the drawers.
I covered the surfaces of the opening of the box with White Opaque Flakes by Liquitex and then inked the area with Smooch Spritz and Mix'd Media Inx.  The corrugated board in the background, as well as all the other chipboard elements, are made by The Dusty Attic.
This beautiful French Garden Border was inked and then adhered using Helmar Zap Dots to add depth and dimension.
Bitty Blossoms galore!  Yes I made ALL of these Bitty Blossoms by hand.  I wanted to have flowers cascading down one side of the organizer.
I randomly added buttons to some of the drawers and a cute cord bow to finish off my organizer.  I can't wait to fill this up with yummy stuff!

Hi friends!!  My sweet friend, Mistra, and I decided to challenge ourselves by both creating a layout using the same sketch and papers.  It was so much fun to see the end result!

This is the sketch that we chose to use.  The papers we chose are from Donna Salazar's gorgeous collection, Natural Beauty.  I adore the colors and designs of this line!

Click HERE to see Mistra's layout.
I love to use chipboard to add dimension.  All of the chipboard elements on this layout are manufactured by The Dusty Attic.  These bracket chippies were stamped to add a little interest.
Check out these title alpha stickers!  I absolutely love them!  Each of Donna's new paper collections coordinates with a set of Chipboard alphabet stickers like these.
These gorgeous blooms are manufactured by Green Tara.  Green Tara has the most beautiful fabric and paper flowers!  Here I've used a combination of Sakura flowers, Roses, Satin Rosettes, Organza Pearl Flowers and Wild Roses.  The jute ribbon in the background is also a Green Tara product.
Love my Zva Creative bling!  Not only are there flourishes, there is also leaf-shaped bling that is perfect to add to floral clusters!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi Friends!  Today I have a journal to share with you.  It's not just any journal... it's a Dusty Attic Journal!
I used a stencil to create this gorgeous texture on the cover of the journal.  And the colors... they are Dusty Attic paints!  Yes, Dusty Attic now has the most gorgeous colors of paints and varnish too!
Here is one of the latest releases, a Moroccan border.  I decorated this piece with a Diamante Trim that was cut into pieces.
To decorate the binding of the journal, I tied pieces of organza ribbon and 'Loop n Tassel' ribbon by Green Tara.
The beautiful Polka Dot Organza ribbon is also a Green Tara product.
This floral cluster is made up of gorgeous Green Tara Primula flowers, Asters and Cherry Blossoms.
And here is the inside of the journal!  The inside covers were also painted with Dusty paints.

Until next time!

Hi again!  This is an altered tool caddy made by The Dusty Attic.  I had so much fun creating this!
The beautiful blooms are manufactured by Green Tara - Primula & Sakura flowers, Organza Pearl flowers and roses.

The background of my tool caddy was first misted with ink from Lindy's Stamp Gang, and then I stamped script images onto the caddy.  I used a stencil and applied Natural Sand medium (mixed with paint) to create the harlequin texture.
On both sides of the caddy I lined the bottom edge with corrugated card by The Dusty Attic.  Now I just have to fill the caddy with my 'schtuff'!!
