Welcome to the Launch Party for Donna Salazar's new Mix’d Media Inx CHOX!

Launchparty2
There are 8 colors in this product release:
Driftwood (tan), Sparrow (brown), Butternut (gold), Petals (pink), Sage (green), Bluejay (blue), Pomegranate (burgundy) & Midnight (black). And just like the Mix'd Media Inx, the containers have a flexible base (for a comfy grip) and a clear lid with a lip that lets you stack the pads.

You can also get the re-inkers in all 8 colors.
DSC_0238
These new CHOX are fast drying, have LOADS of vibrant color, are great for stamping, edge distressing, coloring, and can be used in layers for blending colors (watch the technique video for Day 1 on Donna's Blog).  To give you an idea of how much pigment is in these inks, you can actually mix the re-inkers with a matte acrylic medium to use instead of with acrylic paint!

Head to Donna's blog each day from Nov 27th - Nov 29th for projects, ideas, technique videos and PRIZES!

Today’s Bloggers:
Natasha Naranjo-Aguirre **YOU ARE HERE
Mandy Harrell **NEXT STOP

These are the prizes we are giving away each day:
Each day of our party we will have TWO winners! Each prize will be a Mix'd Media Inx Chox pad and the matching re-inker. To be entered into our random drawings, leave a comment and add your name to the inlinkz on Donna's blog for each day of our party! The winners will be announced during the first week of December.

Here is the project I created to share with you today!

I created a canvas using lots of Clearsnap goodies!
The background was stamped with Donna's Swirls stamp and embossed with Clearsnap embossing powder.
Then I added texture with Ceramic Stucco and a stencil.  The entire background was then sprayed with Cashmere Smooch Spritz and inked with Petals Chox and Stormy Inx.
The quote is made up of Dusty Attic chipboard words and cut letters.
Most of these flowers were made by hand using Donna's Bitty Blossoms dies.
The chipboard flourish was accented with gorgeous pearls by Zva Creative.

Thanks for stopping by!
Your next stop is Mandy's blog.

Much love & hugs...
xoxo

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our November Holiday Blog Hop!

The Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's blog! Be sure to head on over to check it out! Leave a comment there for a chance to win an extra prize package just for visiting the blog and telling us that you stopped by! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

Here is the project I created to share with you today!
For this layout, I used Pion Designs' Waiting for Santa II collection.
I placed this gorgeous Zva flourish beneath the chipboard Holly Flourish to further define it.
I also added Zva rhinestones to accent the Holly Flourish.
The larger flowers are my Cabbage Roses.  You can find the tutorial HERE.
To add the tile texture in the background, I used Ceramic Stucco and a stencil.
I made these little flowers from Bitty Blossoms dies.
I cut apart a Zva Creative pearl line and placed the little pearls trickling down from the printed stars on the paper.
The title is made from mini chipboard words by The Dusty Attic.
Behind the photo I layered, muslin, paper and a Fancy Trim chipboard border.

For a dose of holiday inspiration from our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!

The Blog Hop starts today, November 26th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, November 27th.

***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 28th on Zva Creative's blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!  To increase your chances of winning:

* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.

*Hop over to Zva's blog and leave a comment there to tell us that you made it there!

Remember... the blog hop begins at Zva Creative's blog.
Your next stop is Jennifer's Blog.
Enjoy!

 Thank you for joining us!

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on December 31st for our next Zva blog hop!

Much love & hugs...
xoxo

Hi friends!  This is a layout I made using the beautiful sketch for Pion Design's November Challenge.  I used the Silent Night collection for this 'winter' layout.

Here is the beautiful sketch by Ulrika/LillBlomman.  You can find more details about this month's sketch challenge HERE.
I titled this layout, "Winter Dreams", because the photos  are of my husband and I on our wedding day.  We got married on a cold winter day dressed in jeans and sweatshirts.  :o)
All of the chipboard pieces, including the snowflakes, fancy label and heart buttons, are made by The Dusty Attic.  You can purchase them HERE.
This is the first time I made a banner for one of my projects!  I realized that I had the Spellbinders Lacey Pennants dies that are so convenient for making banners.  I set eyelets in each pennant and strung them on a piece of hemp cord.  I also added three chipboard buttons to my banner.
The two larger flowers are my Romantique Roses made from Rose Creations dies.  You can find the tutorial HERE.  The smaller flowers are made from Bitty Blossoms dies, and the gorgeous blue resin flowers can be purchased at Handmade Halo.  The beautiful, shiny bling is manufactured by Zva Creative.

Enjoy your weekend!
Much love & hugs...
xoxo

Hi everyone!  This is a layout I made a while back using Bo Bunny's gorgeous 'Little Miss' collection.  Green is my favorite color and I love how the peach complements the green in these papers.  The picture is of myself.  :o)
These inspirational sayings were cut from the papers and are the reason why I titled my layout, 'Remember'.  They are nice reminders to myself.
The large flower is my Romantique Rose made from Rose Creations dies.  You can find the tutorial HERE.  The pink and yellow flowers were made from Bitty Blossoms dies.
The chipboard title, doily and vine flourish below are made by The Dusty Attic.  They can all be found in my SHOP.
The leaves on the Vine Flourish were painted with acrylic paint, and the entire piece was sprayed with ink.

The peach resin flowers tucked in my flower clusters are from Handmade Halo.  They carry a lovely variety of embellishments!

Have a great week!
Much love & hugs...
xoxo

Take a peek at the gift box I made to share with you today!
Below are a few steps to help you create this gift.  :o)

I purchased a plain wooden box from my local craft store.  It was inexpensive and it also came with a smaller box that fits inside.  The first step is to remove all of the hinges and hardware.
Next I used Donna Salazar's stamps (Bubble Wrap & Dear Sir) and Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder to create a lovely texture on the surface of the box.
The embossed images were heat set.
I then sprayed the surface of the box with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz in River Mossy, Ice Rink and Pralines & Cream.
To even out the surface a little more, I dry-brushed a layer of white acrylic paint.  The edges were then inked with Truffle Mix'd Media Inx, and the hardware was replaced on the box.  Now it's time to decorate!

The large flower was made from Donna Salazar's Rose Creations dies.  The smaller flowers were made from her Bitty Blossoms dies.  I use these dies very often to create flowers for my projects.  The corrugated flourishes were painted and inked with Mix'd Media Inx in Truffle.

The gorgeous bling is called B.Y.O.B and it comes in separate pieces to create your own flourishes!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have fun at your next stop on the hop!
Cheers to creating gifts from the heart this holiday season!

Much love & hugs...
xoxo
