Hi again! I made this layout using Heidi Swapp's Vintage Chic collection... such gorgeous papers! The photo is of myself and my son a few years back. I can't believe how much he has grown! He is nearly my height now and he's only ten!
The title is made from Dusty Attic chipboard letters. I just dabbed a touch of white paint onto them. All of the stitching on this layout was done by hand.
To create the larger flower, I used Mistra's tutorial found HERE, only I used the Rose Creations dies instead of the Grand Peony dies by Spellbinders. The white flowers beneath are Dusty Attic blooms and are available in my store as well as all of the chipboard.
I love my metal charms from Handmade Halo! They have such an amazing variety, and I love the vintage look that the charms add to my projects!
... another gorgeous charm from Handmade Halo...
Do you notice anything different about this Dusty Attic chipboard border? I actually left it naked! The natural color of the chipboard complemented the colors of the papers well.
Beneath the photos lie layers of paper, chipboard and muslin.
I hope you like my layout! Thank you for visiting me today!
Much love & hugs...
xoxo
