Today I have a grungy layout to share!  It has been a while since I've gotten grungy!  I have used the For Father Collection by Pion Design.
The photos are of my husband and my brother.  I made them into 'Polaroids' using an iPhone app and then printed them out.

This Rustic Charm Frame is made by The Dusty Attic.  Not only do you get the frame in this chippie pack, you get extra cogs and barbed wire too!  I have a few of these sets left in my shop.  I first inked the frame with Walnut Stain Distress Ink Reinker and then added streaks of white paint to give it an aged look.  Then I randomly embossed different areas using Distress Embossing Powder.  After adhering the frame to my layout, I splattered Maroon paint on it to add a touch of color.
The border of the layout was hand-stitched with embroidery floss.

The title letters were also painted in Maroon.  I added stitches and staples to 'frame' the title.
The chipboard cogs come with the frame and were altered in the same manner.  I added a few metal sprockets as well.  The chicken wire is also made of chipboard and adds the perfect touch to any project!
I LOVE burlap... it adds such a lovely feel and texture to a layout.  However, I think I'm allergic to it!  I couldn't stop scratching my hands!  LOL.  So I guess I'll be wearing gloves in the future.

Thank you, as always, for visiting and for your lovely comments!
Much love & hugs...
xoxo
