Happy Sunday friends! It's time for another reveal from Creative Scrappers! I had a fun time creating this layout because I used one of my favorite paper collections... a really OLD collection from BasicGrey called Phresh and Phunky. I just love the colors and grunginess of this line.
The photos of my daughter were taken in Cancun several years ago. I think she looks so cute with her hair braided! :o)
I made these blooms using Donna Salazar's Rose Creations die. They are super simple to make (which is why you have seen them on my last few layouts). I have gotten a few requests on how to make them, so I will post a tutorial soon. The little heart behind the flower is a Dusty Attic chippie (Mini Hearts DA0514) that was dry embossed and glitter-fied.
This tribal chippie (Tribal Designs #7 DA0311) was dry embossed, painted and heat embossed with Distress embossing powder.
The title was adhered with foam tape for added dimension.
The Hinge (DA0509) was altered the same way as the tribal chippie. I also added mini brads to it.
A little lacing using hemp cord...
The little buttons (DA0510)are also chippies that were covered in paper and stitched.
I love adding eyelets, staples and stitching to my layouts.
That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
