Hi everyone!  Just wanted to quickly share a sign that I made for my studio.  I purchased this wooden sign about a year ago and never got around to altering it.  Since I have fallen in love with Donna Salazar's Antiquities Collection, I decided to make decorative pieces for my studio using this line.
The background of my sign was created  by tearing up pieces of Donna's Theater papers and overlapping them.  You can find a quick step-by-step HERE.  The sign says 'OUR' Creative Space because my hubby just moved himself into my studio to be closer to me (even though he was right across the hall LOL).  He is a digital artist which is why I chose the title.
The letters are chipboard alphas that are overlapped and adhered using foam squares for dimension.
The gorgeous flowers on the right side were cut from Donna's Queen Bees paper.  I added a few mulberry flowers and pearls to decorate the corner.
This beautiful chippie is manufactured by The Dusty Attic.  First I inked it and then I painted the leaves, birds and berries with acrylic paint.  Finally, I dabbed a little of Donna's new Mix'd Media Inx in Jasmine to soften the colors of the chippie.
The large flower was created using Donna's Rose Creations die.  You can find the tutorial for this flower HERE.  I also brushed a little Jasmine ink on the edges of each petal to give the flower a shabby look.

The actual wooden sign was painted white and the edges were inked with Colorbox Cat's Eye Pigment Ink.
The decorative trim is also a chipboard element that was painted and inked.

That's all for today!  Thanks for taking a peek at my sign and for your sweet comments.  Have a beautiful day!  Many hugs to you all!
