Hi dear friends!  Happy Monday!  I should say "Happy Spring", but being that it is still cold and wintery, I will stick with "Happy Monday".  :o)

I recently bought some new papers made by Prima and I finally got to play with them!  This layout was made using the Madeline collection.  I adore the colors of this line!  I used Sketch #14 from Get Your Sketch On (GYSO) which was designed by my team mate Jodi Wilton.  This week's challenge is sponsored by Hazel Olive Designs.  The photo in this layout was altered using Volume One- Grunge Brushes.  I LOVE these grungy texture brushes!!
I titled this layout 'Pure Beauty' because that's how I would describe my baby girl.  To me, she is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well.  She is so kind-hearted and always thinks of others first.  I kept my title simple and used small alphabet stickers with inked edges.
This beautiful Wrought Iron Fence (DA0172) is made by The Dusty Attic.
I have a bit of an issue with leaving negative space.  I felt like I needed to add a little 'something' at the top of my layout, but I didn't want it to distract from the rest of my layout.  So I stamped a beautiful flourish border with embossing ink and heat embossed it using ultra fine clear embossing powder.  I love the way it looks!  It adds just the right touch without making the area too busy.
I love the look and feel of lace so I added a little lace bow that is threaded through two eyelets.
I used several different border punches to create the edges of my layout.  I hand-stitched each edge for added texture.  I also added eyelets (as usual) because I LOVE ME SOME EYELETS!  :o)
The fern leaf you see here is also a Dusty Attic chippie (Ferns DA0507).
This cluster of pearls is actually made up of three different pearl flourishes.  I tend to chop up my bling to create my own designs.
This French Flourish (DA0273) was inked in several colors and highlighted with Stickles.  I then embossed the entire flourish using clear embossing powder.
I stitched a small flourish using my Stitched Flourishes Quick Tip.  I love the texture that stitching adds to any project.
