Hi all! This is a simple tutorial on how to get this distressed, cracked look using chipboard. The chippie I used here is called Twirly Hearts (DA0455) and is made made by The Dusty Attic.
Supplies Needed:
-White acrylic paint
-Stickles
-Inkpad
Step 1: Place your chippie on a paintable surface or scrap paper.
STEP 2: Paint the chippie with white acrylic paint. I applied a second coat after the first coat dried thoroughly. You can use a heat tool to speed up the drying process.
STEP 3: Ink the desired areas using an inkpad. I used the blending tool by Ranger to apply the ink. You can use a foam make-up wedge as well. Allow to dry.
STEP 4: Apply a dab of Stickles (preferably in a color that complements the ink) onto your finger. Smear it all over the desired areas. I only covered the inked parts with Stickles.

YUP gonna try this!!! I was just struggling through my own chip board coloring issues- namely how to get a 3d bumped out effect without using embossing powder.
