Hi everyone!  This is a layout I made for The Dusty Attic using one of their new January 2011 Releases.  Be sure to check out the newly redesigned NING and all of the new Dusty Attic goodies!
This is my baby girl a few years ago.  She hated to wear hats, but she looked so cute in them!
The purple flower is made by Prima.  The layer of paper beneath the photo was punched, dry embossed using a Tim Holtz Texture Fades embossing folder and then heat embossed with Distress Embossing Ink.  In real life, it has an awesome texture!
All of the stitching on this layout was done by hand.  I inked all of the embroidery floss to match my layout.  I have a Quick Tip on how to do this if you're interested.
The zipper is something I have had for a while.  First I adhered it using a double sided adhesive and then I stitched it to the paper.
These snowflakes (DA0501) are one of the new January 2011 Releases.  Aren't they gorgeous?!  I painted the large snowflake with a pearl white acrylic paint dabber.  Then I inked part of it using Distress Inks and embossed it with Distress embossing powder.  Finally, I smeared on a layer of Stickles using my finger.
The paper behind the photo was dry embossed and then sanded to highlight the raised surface.

Many people say that eyelets and lacing are like my trademarks.  I just LOVE them both!  You can find a tutorial on my lacing here.  Just keep in mind when reading the tutorial that I did not add the 'twist' to the lacing on this page.
