Hi everyone!  Thanks for taking a moment to visit my blog.  This is a layout of my daughter when she was about two years old.
The lacing shown above is my Twisted Lacing Technique.  You can find the tutorial here.  I used a scallop border punch and eyelets to lace my ribbon through.
This beautiful floralette butterfly chippie is from Kay's Kreative Korner.  In this etsy shop you will find unique chipboard embellishments, beaded floral vines, gorgeous butterflies and many other goodies.  I inked the chippie with Distress Inks and added a little Stickles.
The transparency flower was cut from the packaging of an Inkadinkado stamp set.
The largest flower you see here is my Vintage Bloom.  Feel free to check out my tutorial to see how it is made.
I created a corner pocket to tuck my journaling tag in.  The tag was embossed using a Tim Holtz Texture Fades embossing folder.  It was also inked with Distress Ink in worn lipstick and peeled paint.
I did a lot of stitching on this layout.  It took me FOREVER to do, but I really enjoyed the process.  I found it to be soothing and relaxing.  The border and holes were made using a new Martha Stewart punch I recently bought.  Please click on the link at the bottom of this post to see a list of supplies used for this layout.
I added a border of white crackle paint to my photo and then added a layer of ink on top.
